Saboon Zeit Zeitoun or Saboon Nabulsi or saboon baladi is known as Castille or Olive Oil soap in the West. These soaps are made with olive oil and utilize the traditional hot process technique that is still used today in Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. My mom designed the stamp and in Arabic reads, “Olive oil soap, natural and handmade.” My initials are in the center. Each bar is cured for 6 months.
